False Information

In Leander ISD, our students learn valuable skills like researching, citing sources, and properly vetting their information. The knowledge they gain on how to discern credible information helps them become responsible citizens equipped to continue their journeys in higher education, the military, or the workforce.

Unfortunately, there's been a significant rise in false information circulating about our district recently. It is the responsibility of trustees to ensure the information going to our community is correct, so I want to set the record straight.

Educational resources are not being used to fund any sort of “experimental” medical tests for employees; this claim is absolutely false and misleading. LISD believes in supporting the health and well-being of our educators, and does so in multiple ways through the health benefit programs available through the district. If you have questions regarding these programs, contact central office or school board members, not social media.

Leander ISD, I urge you to talk to your neighbors, friends, and community members about the importance of this school board election. Now more than ever, we need trustee candidates who are committed to learning about our district so they can build it up, not those who choose to spread misinformation and create controversy in order to tear it down.

The choice is very clear, and I am that candidate.
